The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is an association of police officers convened for the mutual benefit of its members. Our membership shall consist of all full-time, permanent police officers, excluding the ranks of sergeant, lieutenant, deputy chief and chief. Our goals are to obtain and promote a healthy and harmonious workplace environment, to fairly represent each member in their employment as a Wilmington Police Officer, and to promote the organization’s standing in the community through civic and charitable activities. Our membership is represented in its endeavors by a democratically elected executive board consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer. The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is a local affiliate of the New England Police Benevolent Association Inc.
The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union will begin its annual fundraising drive during the week of April 15. This telephone solicitation is conducted by a private company contracted by our Union. As always, we greatly appreciate the continued support of our residents and businesses. Any questions or concerns should be directed to a member of our executive board.
Attention high school seniors: The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is giving a $1,000 to a graduating senior. For more information, check out our scholarship page.
