Proudly Serving our members and our community!

The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is an association of police officers convened for the mutual benefit of its members.  Our membership shall consist of all full-time, permanent police officers, excluding the ranks of sergeant, lieutenant, deputy chief and chief.  Our goals are to obtain and promote a healthy and harmonious workplace environment, to fairly represent each member in their employment as a Wilmington Police Officer, and to promote the organization’s standing in the community through civic and charitable activities.  Our membership is represented in its endeavors by a democratically elected executive board consisting of a president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer.  The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is a local affiliate of the New England Police Benevolent Association Inc.

January 15, 2015:
The Wilmington Police Patrol Officers Union is currently conducting its Annual Fundraiser.  As always, we greatly appreciate the generosity of our residents and local businesses during this event.  It is that generosity that allows our organization to give back to the community in the form of High School scholarships, the Veterans Day Breakfast, the Deming Way Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday meals, and other charitable endeavors.  This telephone solicitation is being done for the Union by a private company.  The actual callers are not police officers in our organization but rather have been retained to work on our behalf.  Should you have any questions or concerns please contact a member of the Union's Executive Board at the police station.
